... And so as the days go past, and the thoughts expand, I've sat here pondering upon what could've been. Could I have made it in the blogging industry? Of course not; however I like to display my opinion.
Sadly, with social networking applications like Twitter, an opinion is pretty invalid to everyone else. "One mans opinion means jack shit" someone once said, probably. That's very true in my view, but then you've got to take into consideration that if your opinion means jack shit, what is the point in being opinionated if the only product out of it as a result is someone who opposes yours? Isn't it just easier to shut up?
That holds the question really, if your opinion is invalid and you just shut up, do you become invalid? Do you become an unknown person who's boring? If you enter that category, then don't you misplace the essence to life? How opinionated can one be to enjoy life and yet still enjoy their own opinion? Maybe take a little example from Cliven Bundy. A guy who is fighting the U.S. Government who are trying to take his land. He built his opinion and got support behind him. His opinion was valid and passionate (According to some news outlets), and then he went on to make a remark about President Obama which, and I'll quote here, “I want to tell you one more thing I know about the Negro”. And with that remark, Bundy lost all support and went on to embarrass himself. I feel that an opinion is something that we either have lightly or we take to far, there is no middle ground. Is this blog an opinion? Who knows, I guess that's you interpretation, your interaction, to have an opinion on this. Although all the above maybe a load of shit, it'll be easier for everyone to slate on social networking sites. People tend to be more critical than supportive if they're ever going to comment on something.
Oh well, Pino.
P.S. Your opinion is pretty invalid, as is mine.
